A photograph is screen-printed onto
each of the hand-worked lime- and
marble stones that appear in different
sizes and individual shapes. Due to the
unevenness in the surface of the six
stones caused by the processing, the
images are fragmented to varying
degrees. A loss of what is supposed to
be captured already occurs at the
moment of the attempt to preserve.
